THE SANDSTONE TRAIL

Beeston View Pods are an ideal half way stop point on the 34 mile Sandstone Trail that runs through Cheshire from Frodsham to Whitchurch.

The trail can be walked in one long route or offers many smaller circular routes, many of which can be easily walked to from the camping pods.

CYCLING

Beeston View Pods are also sat on the Cheshire Cycle Way - the National Cycle Network's Route 70 - a 176 mile circular route that runs along towpaths, minor roads and surfaced tracks with changing gradients and amazing countryside. The route takes about a week to complete, with some lovely places to stop along the way, but can also be picked up at any point.

LOCAL HISTORY

Within walking distance of Beeston View Pods, Beeston Castle, which can actually be seen from the camping pods, is an English Heritage site. A medieval castle set within a 40 acre woodland park, there is a cafe and amazing views reaching as far as North Wales on a good day, as well as exhibitions and events going on throughout the year.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

In Tattenhall, the next village along, is the Ice Cream Farm; a farm making more than 40 flavours of ice-cream, with indoor and outdoor children's play areas, farm animals, quad bikes, JCB's and a crazy golf course.

 

Other local attractions include the Candle Workshop in Burwardsley, the Mountain Boarding Centre in Harthill - snowboarding with wheels, the Crocky Trail - an adventure trail for all ages - to name a few.

The camping pods are also ideally situated for a number of annual events that take place in the local area; the Bolesworth International Horse Show, Carfest North, Cholmondeley Pageant of Power.
